Last night I completed phase two of my Deck of Prompts Swap. Here's how they turned out (click on the image to see it larger)...
This was my favorite one to make this time...
Here's the scribble I started out with...
Made me remember how much I liked that game as a kid. I used to play with friends, and we would each make a scribble for the other one. Did you ever do that?
Anyhoo, this swap is so much fun! When we get done with all four phases we will have a complete deck of 52 prompt cards. How great is that?
Today I will leave you with a shot of Johnny in the scraproom!
I will see you again soon my friends! Thanks for visiting!
Love them, looks like you really enjoyed making them. Great stuff.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Michelle! I got your monochromatic card on the first installment :-) I agree with you its a fun swap. Just wanted to stop in and say hello, now I am going to go and tour your studio, then gesso my next set of cards

I really like these cards, each one being done a different way. How does this work? Is there a blog/link or something to sign up at and they tell you what each card topic should be? This would be fun for me to do just like the grid your doing.
ReplyDeleteThe bird/snowman is my favorite too, so creative to get a an idea from a scribble.
Thanks for sharing and any help you can share with me on this.
Hi Dawn - the swap is part of a group I'm in called "Soul Journaling." It's free and there are a bunch of creative prompts you can do, plus a fun community to belong to. Check it out here:

I hope that helps!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the link Michelle. It's sounds fun and will check it out. My computer just broke down on me this morning so it's in the shop for now. As soon as I get it back though I will check this out.
ReplyDeleteI worked more on my grid last night and only have a few more empty squares. Going to start another one right away. Thanks for all the fun ideas and for sharing your work here.
