This page was done on another one of the record sleeves in my current art journal. The layers went like this:
acrylic paint, lace, fabric and paper tapes, gesso circles stamped with card board tape core, more acrylic paint, magazine images, 7 gypsies sticker, hambly rubons.
Did you see that Julie Fei-Fan Balzer is teaching an online art journaling class? She is so inspiring and fun! I can't wait! Check it out here.
That's all for today, but I will be back again soon. Thanks so much for visiting!!!
How cute this page is, love all the colors and layers on it. Thanks for breaking down the way you did it. So cool that you used a record sleeve. Are you planning on putting anything in it from that day maybe to save? I never thought to use gesso to make circles with, usually just white paint. I like the way yours turned out though.
ReplyDeleteI saw Julie's new class and am soooo excited. The timing is a little bad for me but might try it. Thanks for sharing.
I love to visit your blog, your colorful art always makes me happy!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo good in matching paint, magazine images, fabric, handwriting a.s.o. to an amazing piece of art!! You're a great inspiration to me, so sorry that I don't always take the time to tell you so in a comment... But now I did... you are fantastic Michelle!!!
