Prompt #13:
"Who inspires you?" Janel is a reader and so journaled about a character from a book, but I'm going with a character from a movie. Do you remember Linda Hamilton in Terminator II? Oh my word I thought she was so tough - I wanted to be her!...
Prompt #16:
"Imagine. I am a total dreamer when it comes to life. I am constantly asking myself questions like what if the sky was pink and the grass was blue, all of those silly kinds of things. Anyway, today is the day to use your imagination and imagine a world full of things you would like to see!"
Prompt # 17:
"...You can decided any topic or theme for your page just make sure that it centers around that special guy!!"
My daybook has a restaurant guest check sticking out sideways as one of the pages, so I decided to play off of the "thank you" that was already there, and make a little page for Michael...
Prompt # 22
What are some things that you are looking forward to?
Prompt #23 was a free choice page. Janel did a page similar to this and I was so inspired, I decided to do one too. I traced around Michael and my hands, cut them out and glued them on the page. I totally tried to do the same thing with the cats - and umm, that was less than successful - ha. You should of seen me following them around with a piece of patterned paper, trying to get ahold of a foot. They were not having any of that. In the end, I settled for cutting their paws out of a photograph...
I've still got seven prompts to do, including todays and tomorrows. I'm going to see if I can finish this weekend!
Are you playing along? If you are, how's it going?
Thanks for visiting!

Even though it's hard to pick a favorite what you wrote on the IMAGINE one made me tear up a little. I wish so much for the ripple effect of peace in this world also my friend!!
I'm laughing at you chasing your cats around for a paw print, that is too funny. I kinda like the real photos you used though, turned out great.
Linda Hamilton totally ROCKED!! Great choice and I was quite surprised by your answer, I thought it would be a family member or a artist.
Your handwriting still amazes me also, just love how neat and fun it always is.
To sum it all up: I LOOOOVED YOUR PAGES!!!
Thanks for sharing and inspiring us! I'm still working on my pages and will hopefully share soon in the flickr acct. she has there for us.

p.s. thanks for the comment on my blog, I love that idea as a prompt. THANKS, would love to see you do one.
Hi michelle- love your pages. Linda Hamilton in T2 was such an important role model for me. My first marriage ended in a very messy divorce. I was so intimidated by my first husband, and used to visualize LH in that role before seeing him in court or picking up the phone to speak to him. Her image made me fork stronger! xo
ReplyDeleteFeel stronger! Darn that auto correct!!
ReplyDeletewow - that's a lot of pages! i feel lucky if i have just one to put in a blog post. the journal challenges sound very interesting and your pages are, as always, uplifting and beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHooray for 18 years! DH celebrated 20 years in May. I also want to be LH in T2 when I grow up; everything I want to be. As always, your pages inspire.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for your kind words! Just to clarify - it's my husband's 18 year sobriety anniversary coming up - not mine. I don't want to take credit for his awesome achievement!
