So, I pulled one of these out, cut off the lid, and look how great it works - EEK...!
It makes me happy just to look at all of that color! In the back are my beloved neocolor II water-soluble crayons, along with a few gelatos and shiva paintsticks on the right. In front of that is my set of craypas oil crayons on the left, and a whole set of 96 crayola crayons on the right. The front row may eventually have more crayons of some sort, but for now I added in some of my favorite washi tapes. This takes up so much less room than all of the individual containers did!
That motivated me to re-organize my whole scrapdesk! Check it out...
Here's a closer view of the right side...
The tin under the pink and green washi tapes is another alphabet set from Graphic 45. The lunchbox under that contains my hand carved stamps.
It's an old squirt six-pack holder, and it holds an amazing amount of pencils!
My journaling pens are kept in an old Stampin' Up marker holder, and my little collection of Flairs are in a jelly jar...
I find that when my brain gets cluttered, the best thing I can do is organize my room, and my supplies! It helps every time!
Thanks so much for visiting and I will see you again soon!
It's one burst of happy colours, your workdesk. Oh my, the photos make me smile on a rainy day! Enjoy your new, organised place!
ReplyDeleteWOW, no wonder your pages are full of color. I love love this and great job on the idea to organize them. How fun it is to have all your favorite supplies handy to use.
ReplyDeleteI have my colored pencils in a pencil box and my sharpies in a zippered pencil pouch and the crayons are stacked in their boxes. I might just have to take them out though to inspire me.
Thanks for sharing!!
Your desk looks AMAZING Michelle!! I loveeeeeeeeee how you organize your crayons and pencils!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your gorgeous collection and set up of color!!! I rent, and I have to admit, this breaks my heart a little, because my landlord didn't like the little creative corner-space I created, which was too close to a door that I never even use. Supposedly it was a fire hazzard, in that no one could get in that way if they had to, so he made me tear the whole spot apart. I really, really want OUT of this place, but I'm hanging in there for now, till I can find something better... Loved your idea to recycle a soda carton into a pencil caddy!! I just recently found a pretty little wicker/rattan-like napkin holder,at a garage sale, which I intend to use for the same purpose!.. Have a great Columbus Day Weekend!! ((hugs)) ~tina
ReplyDeleteWow. I'm jealous!
