The theme for March in my No More Excuses journal is "Style." The month is almost over, but I did manage to get in some time for blissful cutting and pasting this weekend, and my collage is done.
Here's how it turned out...
As always, the right hand side is an envelope to keep receipts, handouts, images and miscellaneous stuff. Some of the images were taken from my pinterest style board, and the taxi photo on the right is from an old photography book. I included the big magazine image of Tiffani Theissen because I LOVE her hair in that photo. The image is full of wrinkles and fold lines because I carried it around in my purse for a very long time, so I could show my hairstylist what I wanted my hair to look like. I also had to include a photo of Stevie Nicks, cuz I have always loved her style mix of bohemian, hippie and magic.
I am linking this up to Glue-it Tuesday.
Thanks so much for visiting!
How awesome these pages look!! I love Tiffani's hair too and Stevie Nicks is amazing too. I love the taxi and the writing/doodling you did on Tiffani. How pretty the pink/gold background paper is. The pink washi tape is cool along with the blue dots on the right side. LOVE THIS MICHELLE!!
ReplyDeleteI hope to do a page for Glue It also.
Have a great day!
I love the great combination of colours and your story behind it. :)

ReplyDeletecut & paste delights! especially that taxi!
ReplyDeleteAnother amazing page, Michelle! I love the fold lines in the Tiffany image ~ it adds a certain patina. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI love the boldness of the circles and lines you added to your spread. Great images, too!
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely and vibrant! Love the happy colors and collage, and I'd love to know what type of markers/paints you used on that envelope - love your doodles!
ReplyDeleteHi Hagit: I used a Letraset aquamarker to color the taxi orange, and on the flap I used a sakura glaze pen in black for the scallop and colored it in with a sakura souffle pen in white. The pink and blue stuff on the flap is scrapbook paper, and the big swirly thing on the bottom of the envelope is also scrapbook paper. Hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteThank you everyone for your kind words!
Great colourful collage
ReplyDeletevery stylish indeed! What's inside the envelope - is that a day/week/month worth of goodies? {:-D
