Project 52 ATCs for August...

So, here we are in September already! In my part of the world that means fall is on the horizon. I love fall. The colors of the leaves around here are absolutely one of my favorite things in the world. They are beyond gorgeous. I'm also starting to think about 2010. I've already got meetings scheduled next year (wow), so I went on the hunt for a new planner. I wanted something beautiful, and yet functional. What I ended up with is this beauty from Papaya Art. It's absolutely gorgeous! I love the inside too, with that cute little accordian file. Can't wait to get it!

OMG I had so much fun making my Project 52 ATCs tonight! I used the August "Lollipop Guild" kit from Studio Calico! I did a series of four for weeks 31 - 34, and here's how they turned out...

I can't tell you how much I love doing ATCs as a series, instead of individually. It's fun to come up with a theme, and a challenge to make each one different, but have continuity between them at the same time! Yeayyyyy, fun fun fun!

So, is it fall where you are? Are you thinking about plans for the new year yet? I'd love to hear! In the meantime, I am off to clean up my mess and perhaps start another project. We shall see.

    These are AMAZING Michelle!!! I always loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee your use of color!!!! And I soooooooooooooooo wish it was fall where I am......sadly PHOENIX never ever ever ever has a Fall....it is dusty brown here all year long! LOL! :):):):):):):):):)

    I swear I saw trees changing colors on my way to work today. It seems so early, but every year I forget when that occurs. LOL! Love the planner. I could get into the accordion file, too. Absolutely adore your ATCs. I don't make enough of those and they are so fun to do.

    Amazing again Michelle!!! Love the series! i should seriously start on ATC's myself...! The planner is so YOU! And yes, it's fall overhere too... and I had a wonderful, amazing Wednesday (read on my blog) and some plans for the new year came automaticly with it...!!!

    Great atc's!
    leaves are slowly starting to change colour and fall. I love the colours of fall and it's the time I get to work on makings gifts for my favorite holiday of the year: Sinterklaas (December 5). What I don't like is that fall means the people the council hired to keep the streets clean will be waking me up several hours early with their leafblowers at least once a week (I have CFS and need a lot of sleep) :-/
    I've been thinking about which direction to go with our photo-albums and my scrapbookalbums and such next year, I posted about it on my blog http://weblog.thinkie.nl/bekijkreactie.php?id=675
    We've also started to think about where to travel next year, but I'm sure our plans will change several times and we'll probably end up going even more places than planned ;-) But it's fun to dream about it! I'm also hoping to finish several long term projects by the end of the year, I'm really busy with those!
