Happy Thursday!

It's movie week again at Scrapping The Music, and this week we are honoring the cult favorite "Napoleon Dynamite," by featuring the song "We Are Going To Be Friends" by the White Stripes, which is played during the opening credits of the movie. I just love the White Stripes, so it made it extra fun to make this layout! I used the lyric "Show & Tell" from the song...
I used the August Scarlet Lime kit, along with some happy tape from my stash. The ampersand is one of my fave Studio Calico stamps. The photo was taken the night that I had some of the Rydell family women over to make scrapbook pages for my dad-in-law Stan's 70th Birthday present. We had such a great time, and it was fun to see everyone's unique style emerge! Nephew Adonis made an awesome card too!

Click here to come on over and join the fun at Scrapping The Music - we'd love to have you!!!

I also want to share a few photos of my Remains of the Day journal, now that I've started writing in it.

Here's the opening page before I completed it...

I added a quote, some ribbon and made a journaling page to insert into the pocket...

Here's what the journaling page looks like when you pull it out of the pocket. Front...

and back...
It is soooooo much fun to add little details on the pages! I am going to take my time filling this one up!

Tomorrow I will be back with another update! I hope your week is going well, and thanks for stopping by!
