October has been a whirlwind - We bought a house at the end of September; immediately started packing, spent the first couple of weeks of October on honeymoon 7 (more about that later); and when we got back, we closed on our new home and moved in. WHEW! There is still SO MUCH UNPACKING TO DO it's unbelievable!
I feel really blessed to have a new studio space, and I'm excited to share the process with you as I get it set up. Right now it's a huge mess. Here are a few pics snapped with my iphone (excuse the quality)...
The entrance to the space is an archway off the kitchen...
My favorite thing about my new space is all the windows.
I feel so lucky to have this space to create in. Now to get it arranged so I can start using it!
Thanks for visiting and I will see you again soon!

congrats Michelle. The light in the room is amazing. How hard is it not to play on the tape up windows right now? It's like a giant art journal page ;)

Thanks so much for all your nice comments everyone!
Ronda - I never even thought of that big paper as a giant journal page! What a great idea!!!
Dawn H - I am keeping the carpet. What I plan to do is get a big drop cloth to put under my easel to help with drippage, and use a box for spray mist.
Janey G - thanks for letting me know about your Saturday shares! I will have to check it out!
You have a wonderful space! Are you done with all the unpacking and organizing? That’s absolutely exhausting, but once everything is set, you surely won’t mind all the stress you encountered in the last couple of weeks. Do you now have a plan for your window? It would be great to have a fancy curtain setup but if you want to keep it simple, you can just put a sheer curtain there or leave the window as it is.
