Journal Pages, Thrift Store Treasures, and Excerpts from Remains of the Day Journal #1...

I'm having so much fun filling up my little journal! About one more week and it will be all full! Here's a peek at the latest pages.

I folded this one in half to make a pocket...

and since Harry Potter was on my mind, here's what I put in the pocket...

The only downside to these journals that use all different kinds of paper, is that I am having a heck of time figuring out what pen to use in them. It's driving me crazy. Hence all the different pens you will see on these pages...

I stopped by my favorite thrift store again and it was overflowing with groovy goodies!!! Check out all the stuff I got...
It's all going to make great journaling fodder!!!

Oh, oh, AND...

I FINISHED MY FIRST REMAINS OF THE DAY JOURNAL!!! It's got two signatures, and a total of 80 pages. Here are a few pics of how it turned out...

I will share more pages as I fill them up.

How has your week been going?

Oh my goodness Michelle... I've only been away for 3 days and yet I have to catch up a LOT on your blog. Where to start?? Awesome pages my dear!!! LOVE the mixed journal (former post) and this one is gorgeous too - the use of all the different pens is great! (I too struggle with this sometimes...) Seeing all this, my hands start to itch to create again after a few days "rest"...

Incredibly delicious eye candy, here, both in your art journal pages and thrift store finds. (My parents had that Jackie Gleason album, so it brought back some happy memories for me). Your creations are always fantastic, whether in the form of scrapbook pages or your journals. BTW, what white pen do you prefer to use? I'm still searching for a "good" one.

Wow Michelle, your latest posts are blowing me away!!! I'm planning on starting an art journal and doing some mini-albums in the next month or so, and I'll be visiting your blog for inspiration, no doubt about that!!! I like all those different sized papers in the journals ... I hadn't thought about doing that, but it sure looks cool, so I think I'll give that a try.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for all the inspiration, keep posting LOL!!!!!

Hugs xxx Peggy
