I am declaring 2014 the year that I FINISH THINGS!
Here are 20 of my art journals that I LOVE, but have not finished yet. They are in various stages of completion...
Here is my list of workshop lessons. The ones I've highlighted in yellow I've completed. The ones highlighted in blue I've downloaded so I can complete later...
I think I've got enough to do, right?
The only new workshops I've signed up for are Book of Days 2014 and No Excuses 2014. That's it. As much as I want to I am not signing up for Life Book 2014 or any other workshops, no matter how fun they look! Instead I will be revisiting all of the super fun workshops I've already paid for and partially completed, and I will finish them up - one by one.
How about you? Do you have workshops and/or projects that are unfinished? Now's a great time to recommit! Think of how much fun it could be!

Wow! You are so organised! This actually a really good idea... I hardly ever really finish a class, but tracking them like this might help!
I'm really excited about it Marsha! If you decide to do it too, keep us posted! Thanks for visiting today!
good for you my friend!!! excited to see what 2014 brings for you!!!!!!
Ok. I am jumping on your bandwagon. I have so many classes I have not even started! Ridiculous. So I am on for BOD 2014 and Spectrum. Maybe we can keep each other accountable?
You are very organized, Michelle! I love how you have everything highlighted! I have not yet finished my Book Of Days lessons either - my sister got sick and I just haven't gotten back to it yet. I love, LOVE the covers I see in the photo. Especially the Nancy Drew book and Hair! You are a girl after my own heart, my friend!
Just like you, I have many projects started but unfinished. And, I am planning on becoming more committed to my art in general in 2014... overcoming BPP... blank page phobia.
Ohmy.. there's a lot to finish then... funny to see the 'top journal' is bound with that flowery/embroidery ribbon... I bound my new "Chronicles" for 2014 with embroidered ribbon that is a bit similar...I show it on my blog tomorrow. Oh, and my last friday "found poetry' post shows photos of my process, as you asked some time ago. Enjoy!
Hi Michelle,
What a great and helpful post, I think we all have some unfinished project of some kind. I too need to catch up on my past classes, hoping to do that thru 2014.
I am taking some new classes but will still keep going back to the old ones.
It's hard not to get excited about all the inspiring fun classes, you just want to jump in and take them all!!
I love that you have a passion for so many things, it does inspire me and I can see it makes you happy, don't ever quit that please!!
Thanks for sharing!
You're killin' me, Smalls! Here I am assuming that you are a SuperArtist who is working on all kinds of thins, and finishing all of them, on time and up-to-date. HA!
It is so comforting to know that you are HUMAN!!
I have two or three journals whose journaling pages are full, but whose 'artsy' pages are not. Simply capturing some quotes from bits of paper will fill them. BUT,
I have a prepped Moleskine, a prepped BN Desk Diary (I need to pick one for NME), 6 (I think it's 6) unused Papaya notebooks. And oodles of composition books. Plus all the random journals my kids have given me.
Clearly, I can outlast the Journaling Zombie Apocalypse. What I need to complete are not art classes but "self-help" classes.
What a super idea - I am IN! Yes, way too many things started last year and not nearly enough finished.
