Day 12 of NaNoJouMo: Jessica's New Workshop!

Hi friends!  I'm so excited to share my page with you today!  My friend Jessica Sporn has just launched her first two online workshops, and she was kind enough to ask me to review one for her.  I know Jessica's talent and I love everything that woman makes! Of course I said yes, and I couldn't wait to get started!

The workshop I chose to take was her Village Shadowbox Tutorial.  Since I am doing the Nonstop Journaling challenge, I turned it into an Art Journal page, rather than a shadowbox. Oh, what fun I had creating my little village!!!  Here's how it turned out...

Day 12:
"My Little Village"
I can honestly say this is one of my favorite journal pages in a long time!  The best part was playing around with the houses.  She gives you the general guidelines, but then you can go to town creating your own whimsical designs.  It's a blast, and it helped me learn to not be so literal about what a house should look like.  The whimsy is in the details! Jessica teaches lots of easy techniques within this one class, that you could use in lots of other projects. I could totally see making this into the intended shadowbox or even a canvas, and giving it to a loved one for the holidays. It would be such a fun gift!

Both of Jessica's classes are on special for $9.99 until November 23rd.  After that they will be $24.99. Click here for more info.

Thanks so much for visiting!  I really appreciate you!
